ACTIVITIES for ALL AGES
Wednesday Warriors and Older Warriors are our children's clubs for those from Reception to Year 5 school years and for school years 6 to 8 respectively. We are currently reviewing our children's and youth activities, which means that the groups are temporarily paused.
Wednesday Warriors / Older Warriors
WOW is for young people in school years 9 to 13. The groups meet in church or at other venues on alternate Wednesdays during term time. Activities include table tennis, pool, PlayStation and Wii video games, board games, quizzes, cooking/baking, indoor hockey, crafts and more. There are settees for those who just want to chill out and relax with friends, and a tuck shop, where snacks and drinks can be purchased for a subsidised price. We organise nights out for activities such as bowling or indoor climbing. During summer we often hold outdoor events, such as games at the park, treasure hunts,
and crabbing at Felixstowe.
We collect voluntary subs of £1 per evening, although some outside activities, though subsidised, can be higher, but the club subsidises these events.
God's WiFi is our group for teenagers exploring the Christian faith. It's an opportunity to discuss life's big questions and delve deeper into the meaning of life. The group is open to people of any faith or none. It runs every other week during term time.
Our prayer evenings run every other Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30pm (in Church). All are welcome to come along. Someone will open the evening with a brief thought or devotional and then we have a time of open prayer.
Please contact us if you would like us to pray for a particular topic on your behalf. Prayer requests will be treated confidentially if you wish.
